The Dragons ice hockey club are delighted to announce the return of young defenceman Ross Kennedy. Kennedy, a product of the Deeside Dragon’s junior club has grown into one the best young defencemen in the NIHL1 Moralee Conference. A great skater with good vision and skill, Kennedy will play an integral part of the Dragons 2017/18 season. Coach Mckenzie expects to see and even better Ross Kennedy next season; “Ross is a guy that wants to be better. He has been working hard during the off season to make sure he is fitter, faster and stronger given the step up in standard next year. I will be pushing Ross to take on more of a leadership role next season given his ability and familiarity within the Dragons. Again a local lad that we are very lucky to have playing in Deeside.”

Ross had this to say about the new season ahead
I’m very excited to be back as part of the Dragons this year and looking forward to working with the team and the coaches to do our best in the new league setup. I’m hoping we can keep improving on our performance and do the best we can to go as far as we can in what will probably be quite a tough year but looking forward to the challenge ahead”

Ross Kennedy will continue to wear the #55 jersey and you can Own and Loan his jersey by emailing  info@dragonsicehockey.co.uk
