Due to work commitments Paul Davies will not be putting on a Dragons shirt for the coming season. Paul a firm favorite at Deeside has this to say about his time with the Dragons

“I’ve had a great time over the last couple of season playing for the dragons, it’s a great place to play hockey and I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to be a part of what they have achieved. I’ve made some great friends in my time at the Dragons and I will miss not playing hockey with them this season. I would like to thanks all the guys behind the scenes there too like Bruce and Dave Clancy who’ve helped a lot over the last couple of seasons to achieve what we did and also the coaches Lol Paul and Stevie Fellows. The fans at Deeside are some of the best I’ve had the pleasure of playing in front of, they have so much passion and that makes for a great atmosphere in the rink so I’d really like to thank them for their support. I have had a great opportunity with a new job so from now on that needs to be priority which is the reason for the change but I will still be playing hockey so I look forward to catching up with players and fans after the games in Deeside next season.”
