Dragons Ask For Patience

The Dragons are determined not to sit licking their wounds, pondering the departure of their head coach. And with games away to Solway Sharks and home to Sheffield Steeldogs, this coming weekend, the only option was to look forward and get down to work. Team training has been excellent this week and the squad is fully behind the leadership group of Brodin, Parsons and Wainwright. Whilst the focus has rightly been on getting down to business, the Club has also had a number of meetings to ensure that the whole Dragons Family is on board and moving forward. It is important for the Club to recognise what we haven’t done right and take steps to correct issues and concerns. Communication needs to be improved and we have to open up channels where frustrations can be aired. Club structure and culture doesn’t change overnight, and our priority has to be the games that our coming thick and fast. We won’t, however, take our eye off making the hard decisions and putting right wrongs from the past. We ask for patience and support from the Dragons Family. See you all down the Den
