All-Star Extravaganza Game Announced

Fellows Lands Dragons 2 Coaching Role

The Dragons hockey management team are pleased to announce that long serving Deeside player Stevie Fellows has agreed to take on a coaching role within the Dragons ice hockey club
He will be taking charge of the Dragons 2 team that will be playing in NIHL2  for the 2017-18 season and will be assisted by another long term fans favourite Dave Clancy.

The Dragons are proud to announce the return of #5 James Parsons as captain for another season. Parsons has been a stalwart with the Flintshire based club and is the All Time Leading Points Scorer with 215 goals and 195 assists totaling in 410 points in just 269 games.

Dragons Secure McKenzies Future

As the dust settles on the Dragons “Great Escape” The club management are glad to announce that a new contract has been agreed with player coach Scott McKenzie.

Dragons Secure League One Status

Deeside Dragons preserved their NIHL North Moralee D1 status after securing a dramatic 4-3 overtime victory over Widnes Wild on Sunday.
Scott McKenzie’s team went into the game at Blackburn Ice Arena on the back of an impressive 8-6 win against Blackburn Hawks the previous day, but they were pushed hard by their D2 opponents.

With three goals and one assist Dragons coach Scott Mckenzie took the team one step nearer division one safety on Saturday night at Blackburn arena.
In a thrilling fourteen goal match in which the Dragons came out on top 8-6 took book a place in the relegation\promotion playoff game against Widnes Wild on Sunday night.
McKenzie also finished top scorer in the Moralee division with 53points
